GoodBerry Partner Dorota Jarret appointed as chair of the ISHS Rubus and Ribes Group

Congratulations to Dr Dorota Jarret, partner of our GoodBerry consortium (James Hutton Institute), for being appointed as chair of the International Society for Horticultural Science’s (ISHS), Rubus and Ribes Species and Management working group.

As chair of the working group, which is part of the ISHS division of Vine and Berry Fruits, Dorota’s responsibilities will include the guidance of an 18-member committee, as well as the steering of scientific activities and interests for a period of at least 4 years.

With that, Dr Jarret is the first female to chair this working group and up to now she is also the youngest to occupy this position.
