GoodBerry introduced at Coordinators’ Day for Societal Challenge 2 projects

On 29 June 2016, the European Commission organised a Coordinators’ Day dedicated to projects of 2015 calls within Societal Challenge 2. The event was part of the InfoWeek on 2017 calls for Societal Challenge 2 which took place in Brussels from 27-29 June 2016.

Prof. Dr Miguel Ángel Botella from the coordinating institution Universidad de Málaga and Dr Iraida Amaya Saavedra from the Instituto de Investigación y Formación Agraria y Pesquera participated in this full day event introducing the GoodBerry project. The morning sessions involved relevant information about legal and financial issues, project reporting, communication and dissemination of results within Horizon 2020 projects. A new dissemination approach under the agricultural European Innovation Partnership (EIP-AGRI) for EU-funded projects was introduced and explained. During clustering sessions in the afternoon, participants had the opportunity to exchange project ideas and approaches between coordinators, policy and project officers. Together with three other projects, GoodBerry was assigned to the thematic cluster ‘Plant’ in which the circulation of information between projects dealing on related issues and the identification of synergies across consortia was facilitated.
