FOOD 2030: Research & Innovation for Tomorrow's Nutrition & Food Systems

On October 12 – 13, 2016, just a few days before the World Food Day, the European Commission’s DG for Research and Innovation and the DG for Agriculture and Rural Development hosted the “FOOD 2030: Research & Innovation for Tomorrow's Nutrition & Food Systems” conference in Brussels. This high level event sought to support the creation of a coherent research and innovation policy framework for Food and Nutrition Security.

GoodBerry’s research focus on improving the quality and efficiency of berry fruit production in Europe will contribute directly to these topics, such as food sustainability, and impact on European policies.
